Historian David Nasaw will discuss his new book, The Last Million: Europe’s Displaced Persons from World War to Cold war, with Martin Mauthner, regular contributer to the AJR Journal. The book explores what happened to the one million Holocaust Survivors, former slave laborers, and POWs who found themselves in Germany at the end of WWII, describing the creation and operation of Displaced Persons Camps and the eventual scattering of this population around the world.
